Supporting Artistes and Walk-Ons will normally only be paid a BasicShoot fee.
However, Featured Artistes usually attract an additional Buyout. The buyout is dependent on the usage.
In simple terms, usage needs to be negotiated and an element of the buyout needs to be added for each of the following:
- Medium: Where will this be shown, eg TV, Internet, poster campaign etc?
- Length of campaign: Will this be shown for four weeks or six months, or a year? How many times will it be shown?
- Territories: For example, is this for UK usage only, Europe-wide or worldwide?
